ASD the Project and Construction Manager of the Austin Revitalization Authority
AUSTIN, TX-ASD Consultants, Inc., was recently announced as the Project and Construction Manager for the Austin Revitalization Authority (ARA).
ARA is under contract to the City of Austin to implement the 11th and 12th Street Community Redevelopment Plan (CRP).
The plan will include the restoration of activities along the 11th and 12th Street corridors. 11th Street is envisioned as a visitors-oriented destination consisting of 2-3 story buildings that will provide entertainment, music and offices usages. That will attract users from outside the Austin Metro areas as well as local residents. In contrast 12th Street will be a mixed – use corridor. Which will have the opportunity for a variety of small-scale, live-work, environments with combined office, retail, and residential uses.
Construction on Phase 1 is expected to begin the summer of 2000. And will consist of 45,000 square foot retail and office complex and a 132 space, 2 deck-parking garage at an estimated cost of $6 million Dollars.
ASD provides program management, construction management, construction inspection and specialized construction consulting services for small and medium scale infrastructure projects and facilities. ASD employs nearly 10 professionals and support staff in the 3 offices throughout Texas and Louisiana.
